Psychic to do Benefit for St. Jude Children's Hospital
3 p.m. February 22, 2014
Barker's Island Inn, Superior, Wisconsin

Psychic medium Susan Anderson is bringing her "Bridging Two Worlds" show to the Barker's Island Inn in Superior, Wisconsin on February 22. Co-sponsored by B-105 and KOOL 101.7 radio, the 10th Jude Children's Research Hospital. Tickets to the 3pm show are $25.

Anderson's work brings the dead and the living into a closer rapport through her ability to get messages from loved ones who have died.

"People think when you go in and communicate with people's dead relatives it must be real sad but it isn't, people are laughing and having a great time," Anderson said.

"The transition to death can be harrowing and many people are fearful about what happens to individuals who have passed away," she said. "But the information I get from people's loved ones on the other side is cheerful and positive. There are moments when there are tears for someone but it's usually very uplifting."

The Maple Grove, Minnesota resident, who refers to herself as an extra-sensory specialist, said that everybody uses their sixth sense now and then, she is just more focused upon it. She suggests attendees bring questions about dreams, relationships and unresolved issues in their life and with the departed in an effort to heal, which she believes is the real purpose of psychic development.

Over the past 10 years Anderson has raised thousands of dollars for St. Jude Children's Hospital, a Memphis, Tennessee hospital, which specializes in treating sick children. Named after the Catholic patron saint of desperate cases and lost causes, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital was founded 52 years ago this month by the American entertainer Danny Thomas.

Anderson said, her program is more than communicating with the dead; it's about addressing issues in people's lives that hold them back. "I work at helping individuals facilitate a different outlook on life by helping them get past grief, depression, anxieties and fear based attitudes," she said.
